In the bed:
4 ratcheting tie downs
1 jack mounted to the side of the bed.
1 colemann cooler, usually stocked with beer, gatorade and ice.

In the cab:
Stock lug wrench and jack/spare extentions
2' breaker bar with socket (the lug wrench I use)
subs
power inverter
cds
condoms

and of course, the prerequisite hottie.

At times I'll have my tool box in the back, and there's too much in there to list. Lets just say, I'm riding low(er) when its in.

Good point! Youd think some of these guys haul everything they own in their trucks!

I am just glad this truck did not come with a topper like my last one, it was full of milk crates of stuff. This way my little low-pro toolbox only holds what I "need" lol.

It's nice to be as useful as possible if your buddy needs help, you break something, or the like. Thats my reasoning atleast. 3.0 sucks as is, another 100lbs won't kill it.

All I have lying around, no box, in the cab: the useless stock jack, a rusted screw driver, and an old first-aid kit..nada in the bed.. pretty sad considering I work at northern tools, lol.

might have to do some shopping.. making a list!

Hi all,

Here is what I have in my truck. Bear in mind that I live in S Florida so its hard to have offroading gear on pavement. However, if I were to go hunting offroad then I would take the following:

Paper filter to replace the K&N filter that I currently have, and when I am done, replace filters and store the paper filter in box.

Spare fluids in case of scuba driving.

Tow strap

Hi Lift with ****** block D ring

Air compressor

Tire plug kit

Spare clothes

First aid kit

Firearms-I live in S Florida and its shootout city every day

Tent-space blanket sleeping bag

Water

Snacks

Road Atlas and if offroading a Topo map with the trail roads on it

Small tools to make field repairs

Fuses

Emergency cash

Spare Belt

If I was really going out of the way, I would probably look into a spare driveshaft and U-joints

Rain gear

Mark

The side pockets of the box hold straps an rope. Have since added some more tools, jumper cables, jack, gallon o drinking water.

The cab on any given day you'll find a lil 20gage shotgun tucked behind the back seats an a box o shells in the door for it, A small tackle box, camera, huntin pack, binoculars, mixed ammo for god knows how many different guns,

And for those that think you cant fit a bike in the back if you have a bed box, your wrong. You can haul a full sized dirtbike around without an issue. Only one bike though.

I'm definately forgetting a lot of stuff, but here's what I can remember....no wonder my truck sits lower in the rear compared to most rangers I park next to!

Side pockets and bottom of box:
About 50 bungee cords or varying lengths
ratchet straps
jumper cables
atc fuses
spare bulbs
axe
hatchet
saw
Military entrenching tool (Folding shovel w/ pick)
Full-sized shovel
Large tool bag:
Sawzall
circular saw
drill
chargers and batts
files
metal shears
leather gloves
insulated thermal gloves
drill bits and saw blades
Med tool bag:
screw drivers
wrenches
pliers of every kind
Mini torch
hammers
ratchets quarter and three eighths drive
sockets for ratchets
assortment of solderless connectors
basically...everything and anything.
much more!

Most important thing:
5'X8' piece of half inch plywood....can be used as a platform, something to lay on, traction, can be cut into shims for projects, or can be propped up in bed to serve as a backrest when using bed of truck in conjuncture with a female counterpart.
