Im looking into new trucks right now, so I am thinking of getting a ranger, even though my boss wants me to get a new F150. I would rather get a loaded edge or FX4 LII then a XLT 2wd F150. The F150 is really really nice but to me the ranger is more fun and practical. So what did you pay, what rebates did you get, and what was the sticker price. Thanks for the help. :)

My 03 FX4 stickered at just over 26,000 and it is loaded. The only extra options I got were: bucket seats, class III tow package, flareside bed,and 6 cd changer. I paid a little under 20,000 for it out the door, tax, title, etc. included. The fact that I bought it in Oct. and they had quite a few 04's on the lot probably helped out a little too.

I saw a Level II for about $26.5k and it had $19k and change written on the windshield from what must have been a weekend sale. The tremor said 18k and change. So I figure that is with a discount and every rebate available. The were offering me about $23k on a 29k F150 today. I think I am going to get an edge though, the only problem is the dealers here have none with 4 doors. I'll have to wait I guess. Thanks guys....

I paid 23,250$(31,000$can) on my brand new 2003 Ranger FX4 Level II fully loaded with auto just last 2003 fall. That's not including p.d.i , shipping ,taxes and enviroment someting!!! anyways I have 0% financing. I wanted the F-150 FX4 fullyloaded, but its 6000$(10,000$can) more and i was like!!! forget it cause it's too much for my buget!! also not to mention the cost of insurance $$$...

Sticker: $16.950

I paid $11,500...got lucky cause of a great website www.carsdirect.com went to the dealer about 3 months after that website came around and on the site you could get a 4.0 delivered to your door and they would pick up your trade in for about 13,000 so they dropped big time when i showed them that...

Lucky you, I'm sitting right next to the filing cabinet w/ all that crap in it! I've got an '03 FX4 LII, stick, silver, all the options (that I know of anyhow) save the hopped up audio system. Mine just had the single CD/Tape. Sticker says $25,285, although they marked MSRP at 26960. Package discount 1675, 'dealer discount' 2413, cash rebate (instead of 0% financing, IIRC) 3000. Purchase price ended up at $19,872. Plus they matched the first $1k of what I put down. Most of this paperwork has never really made total sense to me in all reality, but if you want any other info, I've got it, just ask..

My advice: go directly to the biggest dealer you can find. The guys that work in volume are prepared to make the best deals in my experience. I shopped around and the smaller local shops wanted MUCH more!

Oh, and I didn't quite as much for my trade as I originally wanted. I managed to 'negotiate' them up a little, although it still wasn't a lot..

Well I went to the 2 different Ford dealers yesterday, one was polite and easy to talk to, the other wanted to play the numbers game and ask all kinds of questions. I cant stand that crap. "What are you driving now" 'What year is it" What the hell does that matter when I told you Im not trading it in? Damn they **** me off. Thanks for the help guys.

My truck was used...around $6K w/50K miles and no options aside from A/C.

My mom got her '02 XLT brand new...Super Cab, 2WD, 3.0L, auto, appearance package, Dual Media stereo...the sticker was $19K something...truck ended up being $14K something.

Fully loaded mine was 24800, 1200 down, and they had to soak up my previous car. I got it for pretty much 200 over what the dealer pays. Still a rip off though, why I want to refinance so soon.

I got a decent deal on mine. The sticker price was 16K, I got like 2K from my old ranger and then my dad got the sticker price lowered some...so I would say somewhere between 11-13K after lowered price and trade in money.

30,000 Mile Service?

Sticker was 16 something, Out-the-door was 12something, put $3600 down, with interest I'm still paying less than sticker price.
