this morning I added a entire engine harness from a donor ranger, so that I could have factory foglights, I also added a brand new 2006-2010 ford emblem on the tailgate. ( I also recieved my redline tuning hood shocks today (the elite more expensive ones) :)

No bumper..... some of you might remember me saying I got rearended. Also went back to my stock tail lights.


Finally mounted my amp.... it had been bouncing around under my seat until now.


I need to save up for a bumper and my front 2 tires.

 

Couple days ago I got a explorer bezel and put two fog light switches in it, Today I got the face plates that illuminate blue for the gauges. Now all I need is the one for the HVAC controls. Also started my fund for a body lift and 33" tires.

 

I got my new rims, tires, and body lift in today! It's all going on Thursday!

Got rid of the stupid flag style mirrors.

 

Replaced the pinion seal and discovered stage 4 cancer of the rear spring hangers. :)

 

Took about 200 lbs out of the bed of the truck hoping the springs would push the rear back up, and no such luck... Now I need some rear springs, Anyone know of some part numbers for lifted explorer springs? hmmm, might as well do the spindle lift while I am at it.

 

Took off the nerf bars and painted them with black krylon fusion and took off the top pad and bedlinered it, next comes the rear bumper pad with bedliner and then I will paint the valance with fusion, oh and I painted the door sill pads with fusion too, I am considering hitting them with the bedliner too. I also ordered a metal tailgate handle in chrome from Wayne at Underdog, as my pos oem plastic one broke.

 

New fog light came in today to replace my factory one. Installed it 30 mins later. Apparently the 04/05's with the fogs that have a guide are prone to coming loose, the guide that is. Last year I noticed that my driver side fog light looked funny well thats because the screw that held the guide in place had some how worked itself loose and the guide was just laying in the fog light assembly. 2 days ago ordered a new fog light assembly to replace my factory one and Rock Auto is awesome... they sent me everything, came with a new bulb and even the honeycomb surround, pretty sweet. Only cost me $30.xx including shipping

New fuel pump and spark plug wires today.

 

Well i placed this on my truck :) it was very easy and only had to drill 2 holes instead of 4 like most people who install these do

 

Finally got my front 2 all terrains on... it look way better now that its got all 4 new shoes. Pics soon.

 

Cranked my T-bars finally. Will get picks this weekend when I go wheeling.

 

Don't laugh. I learned what the tab under the mirror does. Never knew that there was two settings (day/night)

I never really thought about it, my tint is dark enough the glare never bothered me

 

Looked at it and thought about driving it.

 

Unhooked battery, cleaned MAF, removed & cleaned throttle body and intake manifold, changed plugs & wires, replaced pcv valve, reassembled.

 

Washed, clayed, waxed and did an oil change it was productive day!

 

Changed my transmission fluid ... i believe this is the first time in 21 years lol
