I had a nice black painted billet aluminum one on my Mustang that I meant to keep when I sold the car... I can find a part number for you if you want it! It was a 12" one but I think they make them in a few other sizes as well.

yeah if you don't mind that'd be great! I've seen shorty ones at CT but they're like rubber or something and as soon as you start driving they just fall over...

I guess the one I had was actually a 9" one made by All Sales #6209K. They have a bunch of different styles.

Aftermarket Antennas : All Sales Mfg : AMI

Just basically for looks. My reception wasn't great with the 9" one on my Mustang so I wouldn't go that short again. I didn't really care though as I could hardly hear the radio over the exhaust anyways! lol

pressure washed the windshield and front bumper to get the nightly bugs off, removed the wiper arms and sanded down to remove some small rust spots and repainted them black. not sure if I like the new color, but will live with it. Received the last of the goodies from UPS. Now I just need some install time.

no, they will either have the same reception as the stock antenna or less reception. I havent noticed a difference with my shorty antenna from underdog

youre kidding me...they sell these at Vatozone for $10? And its like twice as short as my Underdog shorty antenna and about $15 cheaper?

I love stuffforyourranger.com but man....

Yeah I think they are made by Pilot or something like that...... And its aluminum too.... non of that rubber crap.

Removed ugly green stripe, scrubbed like hell to remove adhesive residue. Ran it through the carwash (residue still present), scrubbed it with some dish soap (residue STILL present!!). Removed side bed caps to prep for paint. Tomorrow: paint caps and fender flares.

Went to the junkyard and scored for 80.00:
Receiver Hitch. Took that bad boy out with no sockets!
Radio Bezel w/ foglight switch(messed up other one trying to cover it)
Rear Speakers w/Covers which were missing when I got the truck, had 6x9's in there
Tinted Ventshades
Gear Shifter bezel/cupholder piece.
And a few things for the wifes car. It was a good day!

Switched my fender emblems to '06 versions that I painted 100% gloss black & finally installed my fabtech angled spare tire mount in the bed.

Then gave it a quick bath!
