bought a set of new areostar drums to intall, they are much heavier and are finned, will cool better and less likely to warp/crack.

drew up ideas for custom front bumper.....anybody have any ideas or links to see for custom rear bumper?

Bought some really nice quick detailer from a car swap meet I went too.
Did a full clay bar and wax, my paint loves me now :)

drove mine over 1000 miles within the last 36 hrs with elevation change of 6000' with 13% grades. i drove from from chico ca to victorville, ca and back not to mention every where in between. oh i also smashed around the desert as well.

and i was loaded up with a 500+ lbs quad a dog and interior panels to deliver for a trade.

I FINALLY made the back of the cab clean looking again. This time, VERY clean looking. Also gave the passenger some newfound room to recline without hitting the sub box.


BTW...thread is finally stickied!

this weekend I ripped into my brakes.
Found a warped rotor and replaced.
Found that both of my drums had pieces missing from the lip, replaced both. I knew I had e-brake problems and when I took driver's drum off, everything was roasted. Shoes were cracking up and everything looked baked. New pads and a hardware kit finished off the day.

cleaned the engine bay from yesterdays wheeling as the rad was clogged up in mud and temp raised to the top all the time

Took about 2 hours with the rattle can, it does need to be wet sanded and clear coated...

Scrubbed off some rust from front bumper then polished with Blue Magic. Removed gauge "window" and cleaned it up. Now I can see my gauges! Lol. Oh, and I shopped for new bumpers.

I never let my gas guage get past a quarter tank so thats why it was still cheap i guess.

today i sprayed all my body mount bolts with pb blaster. i think i almost got high off the fumes lol

fixed the lower window trim, it was getting discolored, faded and "spotty" now its nice and black again.

This was done over a 4 day weekend. Put new headlights and corners, reverse glow gauges, and found a OHC at the junkyard for $4.
