i've only ever used isopropyl and q-tips (was later told that was a terrible thing to do, because i could have bent the contacts and caused bad readings) but i was always told to use isopropyl

new front rotors, painted front axleshafts, greased spindle and wheel bearings, switched wheels to the factory alloys for the summer, greased the steering and ball joint fittings. nice not to have the shaking when stopping now, the rotors i removed were oringinal and had a crack in the front face of both of them.

Maybe use isopropyl but not the q-tips? You just spray it so all the dirt comes off and let it dry by itself... I am still not able to find MAF cleaner...
