Yes they only appear blue when there off, they light up a bright white with a tiny bit of blue like a hid.

few days ago i installed my OHC
yesterday I repainted my front bumper, painted the grille surround, repainted my rear pumpkin and the front cross member that was starting to look all rusty.
then today i installed my new taillights and changed my oil

 

Washed off all the road salt and cleaned under the hood.

 

Destroyed it.

Ran it thru a car wash to wash off the road salt. Looks nice now !!

 

Hosed it off and cranked the torsion bars.

Aired up the tires and backed it closer to the workshop so I don't have to walk so far putting the new system in tomorrow...

 

stopped by the body shop, got my coupon book out, for snowboarding this weekend, the truck still hasn't been started on... but 99% sure it will be getting a 2 tone hood now

 

Installed a new Eclipse Head unit and 4 Infinity component sets... Put the battery on charge...

 

put in a yellow top battery, washed it, took pics of it, the drove it with the system thumping

 

spray painted my rear inner fenders and the tail pipe from the axle back with some krylon black. looks much better not seeing the white behind the tires. no pics

 

Got the wheels balanced and set up appointments for an alignment and to have the exhaust done

 

Found out my oil pan is "porous", or so I was told. Finally broke through in 15 years of New England weather. Heard about another leak too. I see JB Weld in my future.

 

I was going to fix my broken exhaust hanger but spent the whole morning installing a snorkel on my friends land cruiser so ended up just zip tying the hanger back together until I can do it later this week.. LOL
But more importantly... started this

 

Spent the weekend washing, waxing, detailing. Put a coat of wax on my Dad's Olds too. Now its gonna rain all week...

 

cut some brackets and welded them to my rear bumper so i can finally bolt the thing on.

 

Washed the stupid salt stuff the DOT put down and got a new cb radio (29 classic for $40)

changed my front pads. put in new turn signal and marker bulbs and did the blinker mod

 

painted tan trim and installed on reupholstered Explorer seats installed earlier in the week.
