@EAOutlaw: LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your wheel / tire combo! The wheels remind me of the Indy mags I had on my first car... and you just cannot go wrong with BF Goodrich Radial/TAs. Great work, man... keep it coming!

Removed about 20 pounds of dried mud from inside of the left & right rocker panels. PO left it there. I will let it dry overnight and then throw some jack stands under it tomorrow and undercoat what i can.

Put my Truck cap on today. Used sealant around my windows to help prevent any air escape for winter. Rehooked my lights back up to the top of my cap

Got my replacement rear view mirrors yesterday and replaced them both today. After 24 years the old ones could not stand up to freeway blasts or 35 Mph gusts on US 1 in the Keys. Wow, about ten minutes!

I will be replacing mine soon. My driver side does not like the wind and will shake slightly making it hard to view the people behind me. But for almost 300k miles I cant complain.

For a while I have black tie wraps stuffed up in there to create friction, but even that wore out so I finally had to replace.

Changed out my rear tail light bulbs and got a safari bar and a hella 500ff kit.

Love my Ranger, no matter how many miles!

Put in new Vaccum Modulator

The ranger has been having trouble shifting out of first lately. Once the truck warms up it shifts fine but if it's cold it won't shift out of first no matter how fast I'm going. After replacing the modulator the problem still persisted but after driving around for a bit it started spewing really thick white smoke. I should add that the jack was pressed against the transfer case so that I could get the crossmember back on when putting it back together, so I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it.

the lawn orniment

I considered rolling it in to the lake ... pats nonsense
Just bought a 2001 with a 1999 stering column and no registered pats keys .... have one key that fits the lock
No rocker panels either, those seem to have rusted away and I can't find them for a four door super cab lol

Upside is having jumped the starter posts to make the engine turn it seems I have a healthy 4.0 5speed 4x4 ... compression test went well

What I did today.

Just did the throttle pedal mod on my 93 Ranger and WOW what a difference. I had almost 1/2" of play that is now down to zero. Makes quite a difference with response and also with the hammer down. Looks like I wasn't getting the full action of the pedal before.

I also cleaned about 100000 miles of gunk off the engine and it looks almost new now. I am looking forward to driving it all winter out here in Utah.

Love places like this to get information on easy fixed for older vehicles.

Thanks!

I did this mod back in middle November...truck's sitting in garage needing the fox shocks rebuilt and most likely the tranny's synchros R&R (nice marble growl) or at the very least a throwout bearing. Gotta save up to get truck safely rolling again.

Did some updates on my 98. New front bench seat and a newer airbag, and gave her a wash!

Loved those seats in my 2011. Where'd you find a set in such good condition?

Thanks Guys! Ive been searching craigslist and my local junkyards for the past couple months without any luck. Finally found a set out of a 2007 with only 40k miles at a junkyard an hour and half from me. Picked them up this morning. They are so nice, What an upgrade, makes my old ones feel like i was sitting in a hole haha, I try to keep her in good shape. Ive had her for 8 years and shes still going strong hehe

Great job on the re-cover! I like your choice of fabric... it looks very similar to the fabric on my '03 upper arm rest.

I would like to try a manual some day. Would I ever install a manual in mine? Probably not.

Looks nice! Just curious... what did the halo fogs set you back? If you don't mind my asking...
