The "What did you do to your Ranger today" thread

What did I do to my Ford Ranger today?
I emptied out all my soda cans, cigarette butts, and clothing; steam cleaned the carpet, put in air fresheners, and then put all my clothing and other stuff back in. Can't tell you how many people said I should clean my truck sometime soon. I did however spend about 4.5 hours detailing the outside and engine bay.

Don't turbo it. I Don't care if it's v6 or a 4cyl. I'm assuming you a 4 cylinder because you want more power. Your best bet is to just swap it for something you can bar. If you turbo it and it is not a D.O.T. approved turbo kit it will not pass smog. No point in that. Swap it for a motor that is turbo'ed already. One that you can pass B.A.R. with.) Then you can play with it from their and do the little sneaky stuff that will make you have more power that smog guys won't notice. Your 2wd so it's not like you have to find a tranny that will have to work for a 4wd. Either that or just do a v8 swap. Soooo much info on here or tons of other sites that will help you get the knowledge you need on getting a v8's into rangers.

I changed my oil. Used valvoline full synthetic for the first time. I also got this Lucas oil injector cleaner- has anyone used it did they notice a difference? It was only a couple bucks so no big deal. I installed a kenwood hd radio headunit and alpine speakers the other day and hey sound great I'm really excited about that
