Hahahaha..

I just always thought it looked a ton better than the Safari Bar, which also limits approach angle.

its 2.5" tubing for the Ranger application, I guess the Safari Bar is 2" tubing?

The Bull Bar gets 3" tubing on full-size applications.

Try not to put too much faith into anything you bolt to the front of the truck. The smittybuilt bar that is on Trixie's exploder was also strong enough to destroy a Grand-Am but it took some damage as well. The two 3/8" vertical plates bent in the accident and need to be replaced. The crappy part about it tho is that it attaches using 3 bolts per side underneath, one of which you have to drill for, and then two 3/8" bolts on a crappy 3/16" 'L' bracket that bolts to the bumper. It looks good, but even with all of those bolts, it still moved around if you pulled hard enough on it.

No doubt, they look good, but don't expect much protection.

My bar also moves a little if you yank on it. ALL of these bars should be viewed as primarily cosmetic..

my westin sportsman grill guard has aluminum brackets, and its SSSOOOO easy for the bar to bed if you hit something, or have it push against something (ie; a mud hole) (talkin from experience :p)
