Well after a little over a month of waiting Its finally on

Well the end of april I made up my mind on the exhaust I was gonna get so I got a local Ranger friend to use his contacts with some local performance companies and he was able to get me a MBRP 2.5" Stainless Steel T409 Cat Back with a turn down Part #: S5224409 at list

It took me a month because the place it was ordered from doesnt stock it and they ordered factory direct and the factory makes the exhausts to order (That was from the phone call to MBRP) so they made it up and shipped it out.

It arrived the other day and my buddy picked it up and I went over and we installed it in his driveway and it went pretty smooth and it was fairly easy.

well here are the pictures

Old exhaust

Took these after it got dark (forgot to take pictures while it was light)

I am gonna try to get a video of the exhaust on tomorrow.

I am gonna say this now the videos of this on youtube sound nothing like what it sounds like on the truck. It is very deep and very throaty. No drone on the interstate or when you get up to speed. Only loud when you really get on it.

i know. they are getting slammed for putting a stack on it. either way it's awesome. myself, i'd like to see a tailgate/ bumper mount instead of the bed style.
how much did that run you? i understand you got the hook up but if its them, i'm also in canada so shipping wouldn't be as bad.

get a vid when you can.

i was considering magnaflow in the future but i didn't know how i wanted it to exit. i was thinking something like this but i need to be emissions friendly in a few years and it has to exit after the axle but i don't want it sticking out the side. more hidden and subtle is how i like things.

you can find them online for that but if you go to a shop they are more. But 225 is still cheaper than anything I found online

Im gonna try to find a video camera with good sound quality because on my phone it sounds like crap, and on the flip recorder is a little better but I cant seem to find the regular video camera that will not translate the nice pleasant deep notes to a ricey sound.

doesn't sounds too bad. the only thing with videos i've notice is no one simulates the shift points. they just give it some gas and rev the motor.

it would be nice to see someone gradually rev the motor to 2k, let off and gradually rev to 3500 or 3k a few times to simulate shifting.

it still doesnt sound the same as actually driving morris. You need that load on the motor. Till this day im whenever somebody else moves my truck I get a little smile because I finally hear how the exhaust sounds to everybody else.

If I could figure out how to securely mount the camera or microphone there then I would do some driving so you can get a video on it outside the cab

Sounds amazing! But I'm used to my 4 cylinder sounding like crap with a Thrush turbo. But I've heard 4.0s with flowmasters and stuff and I think yours sounds better.

Any updates or attempts on new vids? I've been contemplating buying this exhaust setup lately.
