Update;
1. Contrary to reports elsewhere, the FX4L2 tow hooks for 2005 are the same as all the other current tow hooks. And they have to swapped. The only diff is that they're chrome plated instead of all-powder coated.
2. Remove the grill. It's much easier to get the upper bars in, and you won't scratch up the paint. Put the bars in loose. Put the grill in after everthing is in place, but before tightening down. Access to the tow-hook bolts is easier from the top, thru the grill opening, using extensions and universal.
3. The lower brackets on mine are out of position. They're 24" apart, but the verticals on the bar are 23" apart. If you have this problem, just loosen everything up more. They'll bend into place when you tighten everything on final check.
