Upper control arm/ball joint

Check for play in both of your upper control arms. If either have play and you replace it, make sure you use the new pinch bolt that comes with the replacement. (FYI) Checking for upper control arm play - you have to rock the wheel top to bottom instead of side to side that you typically do to check for wheel bearing play.

When my end link broke it was still attached to the LCA but it moved around fairly easily, mine clunked when I turned, but if it was caught behind the spindle or something it could have caused vibrations. There is no way to diagnose it without seeing the situation first hand or at least some pictures. We can't rule out a bad bearing, nor the obviously broken sway bar links, it just makes sense that the item in the suspension that is outwardly not how it is supposed to might be causing the problem. Just makes sense.

Do you have any play in the tire from side to side? My truck was shaking like crazy recently due to a bad steering rack and bad tie rods.

No play. I'm going to run through the truck again when I get home from work.
