Tougher look?

If your looking to impress girls, the engine wolnt make a difference. Most girls don't know a 1.5 civic engine from a cummins. If it were mine I'd do the black out look, thats just me.
I'd do this:
-black headlight covers
-nightshade tails
-black deep dish wheels
-bigger/wider tires
-06+ Badges
-darker tint
I think that'll definatly help and woln't cost an arm and a leg. I don't think the exhaust is too bad, it could stay or go and I don't think it would matter. Truck definatly has potential. Looks pretty good as it is.

personally the easiest and best way to get "tough" looks are bigger meatier tires.. IE mud terrains or swampers but since none of the above applies to you..
just a one off paint job.
and for the record, i still get "its cute" because its still a mini truck.. the third biggest mini truck in town

Well some things are a big help but some things are not really what I wanted to hear. LoL I just got those wheels they are 17' by 8, 1995 Mustang Cobra wheels and I have a 245 in the front and 255s in the rear I mean when I got it, stock rims and 215s. Yeah the tires came with the wheels I am going to ride them out for a bit but get a thicker tire because those are 45 series I am going to put 50s. I am also going to get like a small spacer for them so they stand out a little more. I am wanting to do the badges and I have the NightShade on order but where I was able to find it, it was on backorder. Everyone seems to really like the black rims but I don't really want to dump the money in wheels when I just got those. I have thought of painting the lip on the cut outs black what do you think about that? I am also going to do like a lightning style exhast you know in front of the tire on it either Borla or Bassinni. Thanks though guys some good info you gave me. I want to get the fog light valance but I was scared of clearense I am going to see how low it is when it gets lowered. Yeah the paint it original 93 so it is faded and worn I am talking to a friend about the paint on it, I want to do like the orange and black two tone or something or orange with some real cool striping. I want to supercharge that motor or I have always wanted to build a 347 stroker so I may give that a shot if I did either it would have a T5 trans. Oh FYI my other car is a 1967 Mercury Cougar so if the ladies don't like the truck the car usually sets it off lol.

Ah, sorry, the name is Testors. http://www.hobbylinc.com/htm/tes/tes2949.htm
the finish is much more like a automotive paint, and requires less work to get and awesome shine unlike the niteshades.

i like the rims. they always looked good. i'd suggest the following:
lower it like you want
a cowl hood or hood with ram air holes
meatier rubber
factory fog light valance with foglights. you should have the clearance if your drop is mild
re-paint. something like your cougar. solid with throwback stripes would look sweet.
oh yea, one thing to remember.
cute doesn't get you laid.
