Tougher look?

I have a 1993 Ranger Splash orange and I am about to lower it 3/4 and have polished 95 Cobra wheels on it. The truck is clean and looks good and my interior mods look pretty sweet and pretty tough but people are all like aww its so cute or aww its so little and I just want people to be like that truck looks BA or something or at least not call it cute thats not cool. So if anyone has any sugestions on what I could maybe do let me know please.

Black wheels; that makes everything look better.
Dark head lights/tail lights.
Darker tint.

Black=B.A.

honestly, your truck does not evoke "badass" at all... especially the color and stance. lowering it will result in being even less of a bad ***. UNLESS you re paint it and do something to make it more "badass" what that is, only you'll know.

I say the 3/4 kit, and a nice set of staggered rims with some nice meats on it will help the curb appeal. Dump the exhaust after the axle, nice roll pan,

ew dont put anything like those ricer wheels on it.

Those cobra wheels are not to bad but they really dont do much to me, something with a nice big lip on it will look nice.

Oh God don't put Mustang wheels on, everyone has them and it's bland.

Who cares if they are "rice", they look nice.

Can someone stand out for once, like this Vette?

i agree, u cant go wrong with red and black. If you want to look BA, I'd say either a v8 swap or a nice custom paint job. I'm not a fan of lowered trucks, but I've seen some nice ones. air ride couldn't hurt either.

Sorry, but the only way to make an impressive lowered truck is to spend a lot of money,,,

Loose the exhaust tip, lower (not slammed, just lowered for handling), tint, and a 302. Will be plenty tough. Black is played out.

Your Orange truck looks like faded red in that pic. Got any other pics under different lighting?
Also those tires look tiny, I'd upsize a bit. Those have to be smaller than 26" OD. Try to lessen the fender gaps with some tire first, before you drop it more.
For wheels, just something with less backspacing to give you a wider stance.
After that, black headlight mod.

Black rims for sure and a valence with fog lights.

Maybe paint the mirrors black as well.

personally, i wouldnt do any more black. i would try and color match everything ( like the door handles) and get some larger rims. That along with lowering it would make it look better.

Also, get the '06+ emblems and a roll pan.

If you want it to look tough and you are gonna have it lowered you need to make it look more intimidating. Maybe a cowl hood, bigger tires, lose the rubber ducky antenna and put a billet on, definetly lose those wheels and put some black ones on but not ricer wheels, and do a two tone paint. Just my opinion.

Yeah, it does kinda resemble a soft plush child's toy. To make it look BA, you have to go the extremes of either a lowered rice ride, or a towering rock crawler.
