A tossed butt
Just a head's up on sprayed lining.
It is flammable.
Several years ago I was on my way to an Amvets party when I came across a PU truck on fire. It seems that the mother-in-law had tossed a cigarette butt out the window.
A bad idea.
It flew into the bed and ignited something in their Pic-Nic supplies and it spread, igniting the Sprayed on Liner in the process. I came across them as they were in the process of pouring beer and pop on the bed while frantically emptying out the contents of the bed { the 20lb propane tank was still onboard when I ran up to the truck... prompting an 'Ohh sitt!!!!' from me]. I had a 5 gal can of water on board my truck and we got the fire put out, although it was touch and go for a few minutes. Their picnic was done for the day since the pop, beer, and food were either emptied out or charred.
I am not blaming the marketers of sprayed on lining since all smokes should be kept inside the truck, anything combustable can go up in smoke, and the lining was lit from something else having been ignited in it before hand.
We saved the truck, though.
Now as for the mother-in-law?
That wasn't my problem.
