Mine doesn't block to much of my rear window. Plus I am very used to using my mirrors to back up. Not saying your not but I use my mirrors more than anything. If I think about it tomorrow I will get a picture from inside looking out through the rear view mirror.

See I'm the other way I turn around if I'm backing out. I only use my mirrors to check and see if its safe to change lanes.

You still can see pretty good out of the back window, you just cant see what's in the bed.

07Sport I have not seen anything under $120 that is black. Best bet is to watch Craigslist for a used one. Black for some reason is more expensive than a chrome box.

Nice looking boxes everyone. I might be getting a free Husky Low Pro tool box polished Diamond plate. Trading my old seats for it! I was thinking of putting a tool box in the back for a while, that way I can throw an on board air compressor system on my truck.

Allright. Heres the TaylorWings box. Built like a tank and nicley finished. However it seems to be a lil hesitant to latch when you shut it. However it seems to be getting easier with use.

Might look at places that sell truck accessories, Trailer/RV/towing stores (where I got mine) Most places that sell flatbeds or utility beds as well.

Heck alot of the sporting goods stores sell 'em as well

the toolbox on my 2006 extended cab is a delta "standard profile", it does not block the view out of the window at all. it does block my view of the tailgate though...

I got a Huskey low pro. Not a big fan of it. Built quality is alright, but if you go crazy with putting stuff in, it starts to sag a tiny bit in the middle, making closing the lid difficult without slamming it, or holding the latch open.

Paid $250 for it. I have it secured with two J-hooks on either side.

Yes, it was sitting ****-eyed. One of the J-hooks was not put back on properly by me, so it wasn't holding.

Here is my $50 Better built box i got off craigslist. Needed serious polishing, which i hate doing, do i scuffed the hell out of it and sprayed it black. Looks alright, does the job. Couldn't have a regular cab without it! I have about 3" on the bottom between the box and bed, so i can still slide stuff down there if need be (plywood, whatever).

I bought some 1/2" 'eye' ends from Lowes and bolted them through the box. They're my new front tie downs, very useful!

Nice. I'm torn between a delta lo-pro or the kobalt like yours. My "MOD" will just be some drings for the quad tie downs :) how much did the kobalt run? If you don't mind me asking haha
