Is this too expensive?

I don't know why, but it seems a tad bit overpriced to me. Looks GORGEOUS otherwise!

Price looks good to me, considering new FX's are much more than that. That one only has 28k or so miles too, it's in great condition.

Thats not that bad of a price for it! Very low mileage on it, and nothing seems to be wrong with it at all! Did a KBB on it and its price is lower then what they said it is to be! Sounds like a good deal to me on it!

Good find though! I like it! I wouldn't let the price get to you though, you can call them and see what you can do about the price though! Thats just a asking price, you never know what they could/would do for ya!

What do y'all think my chances of them saying yes are if I walk in and say "I have an insurance settlement check for $14,000. Take it or leave it" are?

Dunno about chances. I'd do just that though. You might fish for a little. Ask how long they've had it. If it's been on their lot for a while, I'd venture to say the chances are good they'd take the 14000. OR...they could haggle you or you haggle them, down to under 15. Keep in mind they are already below KBB. Hell, my 04 was WELL below KBB and as I've said many times, she started at 18,751 and I got her for 16,000 + truck transport + TTL when she hit NM, which total was about 1200 extra. Still not bad. I'm also financing $9,000 though. Gotta build credit somehow.

Yeah I may finance a tiny bit of it if my dad will cosign to get 0% interest or something. Thing is i know they have another guy coming to look at the truck on saturday! 2 I have found have sold already and it's getting harder and harder to find any!

are you going to go to Ohio to get it?
%0 on a 2003 - where do you come up with a deal like that?
truck is worth what someone will pay for it
if no one comes up with more than $14,000 you may get it
it's a waiting game though, the longer it sits the better chance you have to grab it up for $14K

want me to call him. I talked my dad into buying my truck. I think that is an awesome deal and to only have to borrow about 1500 bucks thats not bad at all. Try to convince your dad to let you borrow it straight up and pay him back directly. Banks are dumb.

That's what I'm trying to say. I could have it paid off by like march at the latest. I've paid for everything for 2 vehicles already, including gas, insurance, the vehicle, and mods. He complains that I have school to pay for. I'm saving him 1500 bucks by giving up my summer to take classes then and over winter break. I can do that plus I have kept my grades up really well. Not to mention the fact that I saved him a ton of money by getting AP credits last year that helped me get out of about a semester's worth of school. That means I also saved a semester's worth of room and board too, and books. That and the fact that i'll be working all the time during the next 2-3 years and i'll be able to get plenty of money to pay off the remainder of my tuition after what they've saved. He kept trying to change the subject when I wanted to talk about it. It's quite maddening.
