Tomco IAC valve

Tomco IAC valve
I'm experiencing some troubles with the idle of my truck, and i am looking for options as to what is the reason of that rough idle. I cleant the IAC a couple of months ago, and it idled just fine until last week. So, if I ever find some time, I will go to Autozone and check the codes and see what's wrong with the truck... i've been doing some research and it might be a vacuum line, too.
So, I called some places and the cheapest IAC valve I found around is sold by GAP for $60 (Tomco). The Motorcraft one is $130, which is kind of out of my budget at the moment.
My question is, Is Tomco a reliable brand? Should I just check for codes and save until I can afford a Motorcraft one?
Don't want to spend money for crappy parts... Autozone IAC valve is almost $170 (duralast). lol.
Thanks for your answers..
