toggle switch placement

hey guys an gals, well i finally got a chance to do the wiring for my foglights. When I started taking the dash apart to mount the toggle i found there really isnmuch room to mount it with all the plating in the way, I had planned on mounting the toggle near the steering column, now im not sure if I like that idea. If anyone has suggestions on the placement of the switch fire away. pics would be greatly appreciated. btw this is on an 01 egde

i also have an '01 edge. i put my switches (3) in the flat panel just below the headlight switch, about 5 inches. just take the panel off and there is plenty of room and easy access to the switches when driving.

I put mine in the DS A-pillar, there is not a lot of room depth wise, but they fit. To get the pillar off just pull on it.

I don't smoke, so I replace the ash tray with a metal plate and mounted my switch there. I figure I can mount at least 2 more switches there when the time comes.

Alright, on mine...

the two switches directly under the radio (old pic, I moved the KC switch) First from left to right, Fog light switch, KC Switch, and then, on the bottom where the ash tray used to be, is my AC switch. Now I moved the KC switch to the other side of the steering wheel next to my head light switch. And replaced the switch for the KC's under the radio with a red light which comes on if my tail gate is down. The switch in the middle of the radio bezel for the KC's was too hard to get too...

AC Switch

Here is where my KC switch is now

here is my current set up under the radio, my tail gate is down in this pic

I'm glad there is no shortage of these threads so I can see where the best place to mount my new switch for my KC's :)
