Tires

First time in 30+ years I cant decide on tires. 95 ranger 4x4, stock suspension. Build sticker says 265/75-15, looked at tire sites, they say stock is 225, 235, and 265, but they are around $120 - $160.00 ea for good tires, I am looking for at 235/75-15 from Goodyear or Cooper for around $80.00 ea, which is around my budget. Mostly highway driving, guy next door has them on his small 4x4 blazer, they look good. I have noisy obnoxious worn out 31s on there now from prev owner.

So you are dropping 2" diameter(1" in height) and 1" in width

What are you trying to decide?

235 are 29" diameter
265 are 30"
31 are, well 31"

They will look smaller than you are used to but will look fine

Depends on what "looks" are worth to YOU, $80, $120 or $160 per tire
