stuck in drive, shifter is free

well when i got home the other day i went to put it in reverse to back in my drive way and the shifter just moved freely like nothin was there so i pulled into my driveway and crawled under my truck and noticed the shifter cable was broken right by where it goes by the exhuast so i was wondering where i could get a new cable and how hard is it going to be to replace cause everyplace around here acts like the freakin thing dont exist except for the steelership and its 117$ there but im more worried about how hard its gonna be, thanks guy

pick up a haynes manual if you dont already have one....I would imagine with the little clearance that you are probably going to have, it will be a PIA....Good luck and sorry I cant help.
