I use to call em flaresides til I got hooked up w/this site. Everyone here calls em stepsides, so I went along with it =]

My old f150 had a badge on it that said flareside

I use to be able to shut the tailgate but now that I have my toolchest in the bed, I have to let the rear sit on the tailgate and strap it =\

It fits fine =]

What ever you call it I got the styleside/fleetside, actually I got 2 of em and love both. I've seen a few stepside Rangers that looked good, but I really prefer fleetside unless it is the old style steel stepside.

I wish I had a 79-86 F-150 flareside. Man, if I found one of them fully restored, bye bye FX4.

When I was in the market I was REALLY lookin for a fleetside (styleside?) but I ended up getting a smokin deal on a flareside (stepside?) and I absolutely love it now and my next Ranger will most likely be flareside as well. it works good for me considering I've had my truck for about 3 months now and I've never hauled anything more then groceries with it so its all good to me

I don't haul a lot of stuff in mine so space isn't an issue with me. I just think a lifted stepside w/fat tires under it looks sweet.

When I got my truck I thought that the stepside bed was so dumb looking. But now I love it altho its not as big as I need to haul all my crap around.

Well I really dig the look of the stepside, but for me I need the extra room of the styleside for hauling reasons. I would find it very hard to haul 30 bags of mulch around in a stepside. Thats just one, of the many reasons I can think of why I don't have a stepside. I still like the way my styleside looks though.

that thing still probably wouldnt fit..

but 3 wheelers are poo doo they flip easy..

but i mean its so close im like 2-3" to wide for it to fit..so the trailer is the way to go..

unless somebody wants to trade beds haha..i think alon traded step to reg..

I hear you on that one, I took over $1,000 to patch my bed when someone backed into it. It's the only reason I want a styleside.

I love my Styleside. And it seems like all the other rangers I see go down the road are the stepside. So I feel like i'm the minority. My boss had a 2001 Edge stepside. My buddy Keeter has a 2004 styleside. My other buddy Joe has a 1994 styleside longbox.

I love the look of my steppie, but it's much less practical. I'll hang on to it, especially since I already have the tonneau cover and bed extender, but if I could go back, I would have gone fleetside.

I gotta strap the rear tires but she fits!! I can shut the tailgate if the toolbox is out. PITA to remove the toolbox though.

Would have prefered a full bed but I could pass up the deal on this stepside. I don't regret it BUT, a full width bed would have been cool.
