Squeeky Brakes

I just got my brakes replaced not more then 4 months ago..and they squeek when i apply the brake..

i took the front tires off..everythin looks fine..plenty of pads..no wearing funny..nothing missing..everythin tight..sprayed it all down in brake cleaner..seems to be fine..

i just didnt know what to look for..id like to see if i can see something wrong before i decide to put the tires back on luggin them around on and off isnt fun and only wanna do it the least i have too..

any suggestions?

hard spots on your rotors? you could have them turned and see if that fixes it.

i had a friends shop do it..when we did it we turned the rotors..and put new pads on..cant remember the brand..best ones he could get..his cost was 65 bucks..its a 40% mark up so whatever that comes to..

no hard spots..everything looks fine..pads got plenty left..i havent laid on em hard or anythin..just normal driving..

i have the same problem after tossin on OEM pads...went back to ford and they said to ruff them up and peal any paint off the edges and slant the edges so its not square on the rotor something about gases not being able to get out..

Try putting some fresh anti-squeal compound on the backs of the pads.
