So who hasn't installed their Jusness Efan yet
#11
Dont get me started on Jusnes efans....
I TRIED to run it.....i installed it.....kept popping fuses even when properly wired up 2 different times....I ran around for about a week with it, with the fuse blown, so that means no means of cooling the engine. Had to take her easy.
One night while wheelin', my buddys sbc v8 '85 toyota's fan took a crap, so i ripped off the non functioning properly fan and gave it to him....on the trail!

Thats how I feel about any Efan.. It really isnt worth it to put one on.. They dont last near as long as a good ol belt driven.. yeah, it does free up some power, but I woudl rather keep the reliability of my standard fan Anyday.. it serves its purpose, and you never have to worry about a fuse or water bogging it down

the one they sell now is a procomp efan. the mounts are MUCH better but it is a straight blade fan and it can be loud when it is on. I had this one also although i didnt get it from Jusnes and i got rid of it because for the 'ignition' source you had to use the under hood ignition fuse which i did not want to use because if that fuse blows because of the fan, im stranded

I put mine on the weekend I got mine, but it's sitting in a landfill right now. The windings in mine rusted. I bought a $35 dollar e-fan on ebay that is half as thick, 1 inch bigger and quieter as well as cools better. The temperature probe on mine also took a crap so it is bypassed so the fan comes on with key on now.
