So I came up with an Idea for a Hitch mounted Barke Light/ Strobe

Alright well it stems from a guy at work that has a hitch mounted brake light that is extremely bright... I have been trying to figure out what kind of brake/blinkers it was and I got a close up look of it last night and turns out it looks home made using LED lightheads Possible Whelen LINZ 6 or similar Lightheads set on steady burn instead of strobe.

This got me to thinking. the LINZ 6 Lightheads you can get in split colors and you can also set one side to steady burn and one side to strobe.... So if I were to get 2 RED/AMBER light heads and set it up so that the RED was steady burn and the AMBER was strobe.

Then hook the Red side up to the Brake light circuit on the rear so they would work as Brake lights and Blinkers and then hook the Amber side up to a switched power source so I can have amber strobes

Yes I know it might be a little pricey... But I think it would be cool if you can hook either side up to separate power sources

Tell me what you think

Way too pricey for the gained benefits IMO. Keep them as strobe (but that's highly illegal).

Only illegal if you have Red, Blue, or Green

Illegal if it's aftermarket and not DOT approved. All our HID lights the forum has are illegal and off-road use only.
