So I wanna change my shift **** on my 99 but it seems like whoever put it on the first time decided it was a good idea to use thread locker. How should I go about removing my shift ****?

get a pair of channel locks. it should still twist. it might just be a little tough. you could try spraying some kind of penetrating oil in there, it might help, it might also make a mess.

I'm not worried about making a mess cuz I got a rubber floor. Thanks a lot. I'm gonna give it a try today.

It's not threaded it has a set screw. The hole itself is the exact width of the shifter.

Yup, the Mustang GT 79-04, Level II arm, and Ford Hursts' use the 12mm x 1.75 thread. ie) I have a 12mm x 1.75 thread Hurst ball on my Level II arm.
