i didn't look at the link caus ei'm lazy but for the shaved door all you'll needs a poper "pop lock" if u do but a kit make sure it's a 35 pound poper cause the 15's barely open the door.. but with the 35's u hit the button and u better watch out cause that doors comein out but they also have a spring that u can adjust so if it's to fast u can tunr it check out these http://suicidedoors.com/DoorPoppers.php

I've heard that in colder areas door poppers can freeze up so some of the northern people opt for a remote window kit instead. I know your in Georgia, but everything is "northern" to me lol.
just something to consider. may be less fabbing and less work for same desired result. also the sound of your freshly shaven doors flying open into whatever is next to you doesnt sound fun to me.

or you can just kinda peice it together like i did
get the alarm that you want. then just use the keyless feature to pop some power door lock actuaters. thats how mine is setup and works nicely. doesnt "pop" the door open but it does pull the linkage down so you pull a little on the door and youre in.
