I purchased cab corners and two floorboard repair panels on-line. I went to install them we had to remove the bed to the back of the cab corners. We noticed at that time but the back of the bed facing the cab I was rusted along the bottom edge. I have not been able to find anything to repair that section with. Including a junk bed.
i’m having trouble finding a 1998 ranger parts anywhere in our 3 local recycling yards, is there any other Ford models where the bed is the same whether it’s a Ranger or another truck?

 

According to an interchange index I have the 1998 to 2001 Ranger bodies are the same. So as long as the bed length & style match yours, this gives a wide range of years for parts.
