Replacing my stupid horn
Well im looking to replace my horn and was wondering what would be a good car to pull one out of. My horn is so wimpy its not even funny, I barely use it cus im embrassed by it. Looking to go to a junkyard and just pull on. I havent really looked into how hard it is to replace it so is it very difficult to pulll mine out and put a new one in?

Should be under the headlight.
If you really want a good sounding horn.
late 90's cadalics had a 4 note horn. loud as hell. You would need to wire the power for the horn switch to a relay, then the horns in order for it to get enough power and such. but it would be **** to see that done.

Its not really that difficult. I thought it would be a pain as well.
Take a drill battery or something to a junkyard. Find a good horn from a cadillac. The horns are beast.
Rip the wires off of the car and put them on the drill battery to check to make sure the horn works. Dont shock yourself please

Yeah...the horns on the Rangers suck! I feel like a girl every time I have to use mine. Way back in the late '80's my dad put one of the old school "oooga" horns on his Ranger which was pretty sweet. If you do end up doing a swap please post a how to because I would love to see how it's done so my cheeks don't turn red every time I hit the horn.
