Rear Door Wont Open.....

Rear Door Wont Open.....

so my passenger side rear door is what seems to be stuck on the top latch, the bottom is acting like it is unlatched when you pull the handle but the top is staying locked, anyone ever have this happen cause i dont know how to get it to open and its starting to suck cause i keep forgeting about it and try to open it......thanks

mines doing the same thing, except the top hatch opens and the bottom is stuck.

Can anyone help us?

Well my suggestion would be the jaws of life, but I suppose you want to keep the door.

haha, i like how he thinks, mines starting to get hung up on something, all i do is yank and it comes open

well im just worried that if i yank too hard the damn handle or something expensive is going to break and i really wont be able to close it again.......just trying at all costs to not go to the dealership and pay them 100 bucks to just see whats up....

I'm not too familiar with these doors, but you might want to try moving the door up/down as you try to open it. If up/down movement opens it, you might need to adjust/replace the hinges.

hasnt it been established that taking off the panels is ridiculously hard to do?

my passenger rear door doesnt close all the way, so i have to slam it to get it to close.
