Rear is coming out, almost ready to scrap!

I've nearly got the rear 8.8LS out today. Aside from getting whacked in the cheek by the bumper, progress has been slow but steady!

Everything is very clean underneath. The leafs appear to be in great condition, along with the shocks.

Here's a few shots. Enjoy

I nearly had a Mercury Mountaineer in my living room while jacking it up on each side to support it from the frame to drop the rear.

My wife helped by sitting on the opposing fender....lol like her 120pd butt will help.
This is about half-way down from where it was originally sitting. Both brake rotors were down on the ground, with the pivot point in the middle!

I'm willing to bet a sawzall or plasma cutter! Should be fun!

Lol...I was waiting for that question to arise, because I've been contemplating it for a while.

My final decision is to have my buddy bring his front-end loader down here after we get it out on the driveway on jacks. He'll lift it off the jacks and onto the trailer using some chains and ropes.

I really like it after a hard day or after lots of stress...it'd 10x better than unloading on a punching bag or something. Nothing like bustin' knuckles and drippin' sweat over your pride and joy, right???
