yeah and it cost a hell of a lot more you can buy a lot of gas with what you save purchasing a ranger ... not to mention that depending on where you live diesel costs more too

This is true.

6.7 is totally in house from Ford. No, its not derived from the Navistar Powerstrokes.

Fords do have Cummins' in small diesel applications right?

I meant small diesel applications in South America. My bad. I know NA the only place you can get a Cummins in a passenger car is in a Dodge.

From what my friends say quadzilla is the best chip for the 98.5-2002 dodge diesels. he said the best chip for the high pressure common rail cummins is the smarty chips. but yeah i would love to have a diesel too
now i know it is possible to get realy good milage out of a diesel but your numbers dont add up.

i heard of a powerstroke getting 30 mpg with a predator tune propane and meth with an double overdrive splitter but that all clost like 10g to get and time too install so i guess it will pay its self off but not anytime soon. also this trucks only use is looking cool and good milage

I bought it used with 59000 miles on it a year ago and paid 14000.00 I also love rangers 2.3 with 5 speeds so I dont have to drive a car. I just dont see buying a 4.0 when I can get a f150 v-8 and get better milage but every has a right to their own opinion Randy
