Well I was going down a back road about 35mph today, and It started to bog out like it was out of fuel, so I pressed the gas pedal down some more and it got even worse. I released the gas pedal and it went to WOT instantly. I proceeded to slam the pedal to the floor and then the engine bogged out. Coasted to a stop and undid the battery cable, put it back on and everything was back to normal has anyone else had a reversed gas pedal before?

 

I did not have exactly the same issue but my truck while driving was fine but every now and then when i take my foot of the gas it would rev up and hold at high rpms, then i would press the gas pedal to the floor and let off. that made it stop. the throttle plate was getting stuck. try cleaning the throttle body out

 

I thought about that but it was like it was opposite it literely floored it when I let off the gas.

I would still probably drive it if it stayed like that I would just have to get used to using the pedal backwards lol
