Just had a random thought today and thought a Ranger Forums magazine would be pretty cool. Anyone agree, disagree?

 

thats a sick idea but were trying to put the money towards a new server not a magazine.. not trying to bash ur idea though.

 

I don't see what would be in it. It would be like a page

 

Some How-to's for the noobs that would pick it up in the store.(if it was sold in the store) Just some little odds and end things that other people would like to see. Readers rides. Zachs truck would have to be the cover truck though.

 

Could be an online only magazine.

I had in mind a hard copy. I pretty much get paid to sit and read magazines at work but anymore there's really nothing in them. that and how many tech articles do you see on Rangers?

 

I think the start up cost would be way more than the profit it would bring in. I don't see it happening. If you want to do it go for it though!

It's too specialized a topic to have a full fledged magazine.

 

Pointless. That's why we have R-F in the first place.

 

with multiple categories that subscribers can contribute too by making their own subtopics under the main categories where other subscribers can comment...


oh wait....

 

It might work to get a magazine made by the site with like how-to's and maybe like who is who (mods and admins).

But that would be a ton of work and the start-up cost would be CRAZY and there is no guarantee that the money would be made back.

Good thought but it would never work and will never happen.
