power steering fluid in a psd....

power steering fluid in a psd....

Here is the question.. My cousin just bought a 02 psd f 250... i was wondering if it would be alright to use synthetic atf ... because i kno tht on our RANGERS we can use atf.. but would it be alright to use in a PSD..... i am needin this input pretty quickly.... thanks...

You can not put ATF in a steering rack, you can out atf in a steering box though. i would use valvoline syn power synthetic power steering fluid, thats what i use in everything and i like it because it quiets those ford steering pumps.

psd dont have racks they have boxes

yes atf will be ok

atf goes in our p/s systems. just like it will work in a f250
