Possibly Wrecked
So I have been thinking lately(Uh-oh) And im starting to think my truck was wrecked by one of the previous owners. My first inclination is that when I bought the truck I was told the odo read 53000 but then engine only had about 33000 because at the 20000 mile oil change they put diesel oil and blew the engine and had to put a factory ford engine in it.
My second is that the driver side rear corner sags(I'm hoping its a worn leaf spring) and not a twisted frame, Because the wheel turns slightly to the right when im going straight and if I straighten it out the truck turns left
My driver side tail light has Condensation in it and so does one of my corner markers. WHICH by the way are two different colors...One is clearer than the other one is a clear orange one is a more hazy orange.
And this past weekend I was doing the OHC mod and when I cut the headliner I found a MUD DAUBERS nest up there.
MY truck is a Reg cab 04 Basic XL(No Options) With 5 spd manual 2.3l

All those things don't necesarily add up to a previously wrecked truck imo.....lamps always sprout a leak here and there, no matter wrecked or not. The leakage could have changed the colors alil bit too. Could be as simple as an accidental bicycle handle bar hitting the corner lamp, causing a crack/break, and aftermarket replacement installed. Same could go for the taillamps.
The engine deal....well.....heavy oil into an engine that takes thin oil....causes bad things to happen...so new engine is a new engine....new truck pretty much!
That driver rear sag.....how's the alignment of the bed and cab? is it square to the cab? looking from the back, is the bed aligned with the back window? Could be as simple as being a bad spring or bad bushings.

The lights probably just leaked and that caused them to fog and change color slightly. The drivers rear sags probably because that side of the truck cares the gas tank, driver, and battery. That over time can cause the suspension to sag over time a little, especially if its a full tank of gas. The story about the motor is probably true and makes sense. The mud daubers could have gotten in the truck wile it was setting in a garage, shop, or warehouse with the windows down. That has happened to my dads truck along with some spiders after it set a wile in our shop with the windows part way down.
