Inside truck: fire extinguisher, maglite, CB, cellphone, winch remote
In toolbox: bag of tools, bag with: 3"x30' strap, 2-7/8" shackles, 2-3/4" shackles, one beener (1 ton), extra hitch pins, folding shovel, leather palmed gloves, mini-maglite.
In bed: 48" hi-lift jack
If you have a hi-lift and no winch, consider three lengths of chain. One chain to go from the top of the jack to an anchor point, one to go from the tongue to the truck and the third (at least 12" longer than jack) with choker hooks so you don't have to chock the wheels when using the hi-lift as a winch. Despite having the winch, I will usually still keep the chain in the truck if I'm alone or far from home. Ya really never know when the winch will give up.
