NOS Subwoofer

I am putting this in General as apposed to Audio/Video because I am not concerned at all about the performance of this subwoofer enclosure, but its look.
I found this a few months back, and I really liked the concept. I have no nor have I ever had any intention of putting Nitrous in my ranger, but I just liked the concept.

I showed this to a friend (who drives a supped up neon BTW, but by no means a ricer) and he said it it was something a ricer would put in his/her car to act like they have NOS. I do not want NOS, nor do I want to act like I have NOS (I'm not going to go around and say "Hey, I've got NOS so you better not race me" or some sh** like that) I just thought it was a neat concept.
They come in 6" or 8", powered/passive, and blue, white, purple and yellow (yellow is more for a boat, ie a scuba tank)
What do you guys think?

I've seen them aroudn and in use before at shows. They are nice unique design. The Stainless steel braided line is the power, and signal wires. They are from Bazooka and the Powered 8" are nice, not too much bass for people that want to make their music a little fuller. There is also NOS look bottle brackets so you can mout then. I've also seen blue woofer screens to protect the cone, and make it harder to notice.

I dont think u could fool anyone with those anyway if u get right up on it and read the label u know its not NOS and also the little lip in the back of the tube also gives it away so I wouldnt be worried about being called a poser.

I like the design, though I would paint it like Wade said. In case your in an accident, you don't want the Firemen to hose out your truck because they think there is a big can of nitrous behind the seat. Gloss black would be a cleaner look.

Would be a nice kick in the teef when your truck is stolen for its 'forced induction' and they realize its more for 'ear-drum destruction'.

True dat...then they get arrested for it. That would be even greater, what they would think in jail.

i seen that on pimp my ride... the air flow doesnt work to good... its really for show. i disagree with the hole concept like "HEY LOOK I GOT NOS" look but u dont its fake. not to dis but it really looks like a poser and ricey to the max. go with a custom box or buy a cheap one never get subs that have built in boxes.
