Newly Installed Pads and Rotors Make Noise

I have the book, I have looked. I see the anti-rattle clip on the rotor that goes on the inside. I can't see how it engages. Anyway, as long as it goes on the inside, that is my bottom line concern.
Sorry to wear you out, just want to do a good job. Thanks for all of the help.
As far as turning the rotor, finding someone to do that in a timely manner is not possible. It will ear even over time, right?

Buy a new set.....have the others turned. Take the turned ones...put a little Petrolum jelly on them (thin coat to prevent rusting) put them in a BIG ziplock bag and hang on to them for a extra set. Just be sure to clean the off real good before installing them. If I remember right.....the inside pad has a clip that locks it into the piston...I dunno with out looking. It seems like every weekend I am doing brakes on someones car.

I will take your word for it. As long as I put the pad with the clip on the inside, I should be fine.
I will work on them later and report back. I hope this fixes it.
Not ro sound stupid, but there are 4 pads, 2 inside with clips and 2 outside. There is no left and right, correct? Like I said, stupid question....

Umm, that would be the noise of a pad in backwards. So, now what do I do about the rotor as it is scratched pretty bad?
Also, It seems that the pads on the left front go in tight, seems they barely can slide in the clips, they should not be tight in there should they? I pried, I tried new clips to no avail. They barely bidge in the clips.
Thoughts?

If the pads fit tight make sure there is no junk on the caliper bracket where the clips go. If this is clean you can take a die grinder with a rol loc pad on it or just a file. File down the area of the pad that slide on the clips, all three or however many sides. Keep checking the fit on the bracket until the move nice and easy, Not too easy though where they might rattle but enough to slide easily. Then apply a light coat of anti-seize to the clips. I have had many new set of pads fit way too tight in the brackets where I would have had to hammer them in to fit. This is not good because they won't move back after you apply the brakes then. Sometimes the paint they apply is too thick and causes this. Also if the grooves in the rotor are not too deep I wouldn't worry about them and fix the pads first and see how they are. They might not cause noises or other problems. I understand you don't want to tear them apart more times them necessary, but you might not need to spend the money.I hope this helps and you figure it out.
