New Ford Ranger 2010

yup thats it. Its not the right body for it though, although im sure itll be about the same size.
As far as the small bed.... screw the long bed/crew cab option. If you want that, buy a fullsize. If you want a compact truck with a crew cab, get a short bed. There has to be some sacrifice on both ends. Otherwise, the truck gets stupid big like the new Tacoma. I saw a long bed crew cab one next to an old T100 yesterday, its almost the same size! stupid to have a that much of a product overlap like that between the Tacoma and Tundra.
Did we not learn from the fail that was the Dodge Dakota? The overlap with the Ram killed it. Why buy a 'small' truck that costs as much, usues as much gas, is getting close to the same size, and has LESS capability at the end of the day? Hell, i really dont like how big the T6 is next to the current truck, but well, i can live with it. Ford, dont jack it up by making it big and bigger like the rest of the competition.

Really, with a slightly updated exterior, and an interior that came around 15 years ago, oh... and thankfully some engine updates, the truth of the matter is that the 2010 and the 1994 Rangers really aren't all that different.
Not to say that they're a bad truck, because they're not. But, the only reasons that they have continued to be the least bit competitive are that Toyota and Nissan all but ignore the small pickup market now, and Rangers are still dirt cheap.
