Dear Ford Ranger fans...

I am the proud owner of a 1993 4x4 XLT 4liter super pickup truck!!
She has over 200,000 miles on her and still going strong (except for the computer which has just burned out for the 3rd...THIRD...time.

By now we have figured out that we must completely revise the harness of the computer and check ALL the grounds etc etc...and we are in that project now. However, unfortunately I am ONCE AGAIN in the market for a compatible ECM for my truck and, if possible, the wiring harness from the firewall outwards as this might save lots of time to just buy replacement instead of testing every wires integrity. Two years ago I was LUCKY enough to “meet” another Ford enthusiast in one of these fantastic forums who was kind enough to sell me a computer from one of his “parts” trucks for a great price and put it in the mail for me. I paid him via paypal.

Well, Im hoping for a nice miracle like that once again. Im posting this request for help on all the FORD forums I can find, and truly hope that one of you has an ECM that will work with my truck.
I am going to include here the VIN of my vehicle and my email (written long hand so as to avoid the spam catchers of these forums) and I anxiously await any responses as time is of the essence.

My truck is very important for me to be able to get to work and to realize my job as well. After so many faithful years of service, there is also a sentimental attachment and its killing me to have her sitting in a bad neighborhood (my mechanics) for weeks on end.

Please help. Sell me your spare parts. Thank you for your time.
