ok, heres the deal, not long ago, NC done away w/ the stickers on the windshield and tied in inspections w/ registration.... well i just have purchased my stickers for my tags and got my new registration in march of this year....

if im not mistaken my inspection sticker runs out at the end of this month....

my question IS:

do i still have to get the inspection, or is it now tied in with my tags so i dont till march 2010... this doesnt sound right though....

I think i have to go get it now, THEN nest year ill have to get it in march, im not sure though...this doesnt make since either bc then ill be buying two inspections within same year!

NC residents please inform me...

Um thats a good question, I really don't know. I wonder when my 150 is supposed to be inspected, crap lol. I think they send out reminders when its time for your car to be inspected but I'm not 100% sure

 

just found this, to me it sounds like i dont have to get one now till march 2011 bc my regristation "came first"...

SOOO trent, the way i see it ur inspection comes first, you get off the hook, but if not, you still have to get the inspection and registration whereas i get to wait until next year on my registration date...woot!

Look on your new registration. You should have an "inspection due date" or something similar.

 

if your tag goes dead before your sticker does then your fine till next year. unlike me i had to have mine inspected this year cause the sticker went dead in may and my tag goes dead in sept
