My Ranger is gone.

My Ranger is gone.
Officially gone as of today.
Back in April I had scheduled to get my boat painted by a guy in Toledo, trip was about 2 hours from the shop. Hooked on, drove it up, truck did not like having it back there (3rd gear running 50mph the whole way with check engine light on the whole way there!), I bet there was only 1000lb, with how everything was stripped off. Dropped it off, was told when it would be done, started the drive back. Half way there, traffic just stops on the high way. Slowing down, was around 30 or so, and the car behind me didn't realize the red brake lights meant stop, hit me hard, pushed me into the car in front, ranger was sandwiched in the middle.
Came back up a few days later, paid an outrageous towing/storage bill (220 for a 3 mile tow, and 4 day storage including 3 days that they were closed and I would not be allowed in to get it), and brought the truck back to the shop. Got a call from the insurance company from the car behind me, said they were paying for the damages to my vehicle, and that they thought it was salvagable. I laughed and told the lady it was totaled, the radiator is against the firewall, the back isnt any better.
Got the final check for the truck today, they gave me a little over $1,100 for a 1992 with almost 140k miles. May be a little low, I don't know or care, as I paid 1,000 for it almost three years and 30k miles ago.
Was a fun truck, may get another one, or got the F-150 route.

Don't have any pictures on this computer, it was a 92, burgandy, clean truck for a 92.
This was the beater vehicle, so won't buy anything new, it will just get abused anyway, have never financed anything, won't do it for a beater.
Found a 93 F150, 4wd, 130k, body is alright, needs some buffing, 5.0, auto, for 500 bucks.... Think I'll buy it tomorrow.
