I like the f-100 idea, fill the mid-sized truck market hole, but still keep a mini truck! For once Ford is thinking ahead instead of just folowing everyone else.

Not really digging the F-100... but if they bring the overseas Ranger to the states, I'll be first in line at Omera Ford, Burt Ford Arapahoe, Burt Ford in Parker or Mike Naughton Ford ordering one.

I want the Brazilian front end on mine.

It gets a big "EWW" from me if it ends up looking like those overseas rangers, sorry but they look too nissan/toyota-ish IMO.

X2

They also need a v8 option, yes it will use more gas but it wont be as much as an F150 and it will be fast.

I dont think they will, the V-6 ecoboost is estimated to produce 340-horsepower and more than 340 lb.-ft. of torque.

Well then that is a good enough reason.

Bring on the diesel

Meh, I actually prefer the look of the current US Ranger to the world version. I think our version looks tougher. I would love the face lift and suspension mods from the new South American rangers, but not the European ones.
