Said something like "no such thing as B2600, maybe B2500?". Whatever..you covered yourself.
Back on topic...I've had a few friends in the past with them...they all seem to be pretty nice little trucks. I once had a '88 B2200(2wd) that was given to me by a neighbor...didn't run...15 minutes of messin' with it I was driving it down the road at 50. Mikey is the perfect person to talk to about the old school Mazda's...he's had like 5 of 'em. lol.

Stay away from the 2600s. They are CRAP. It's a Mitsubishi engine. They are notorious for fried ECUs, which are like $300+ to replace, super weak bottom ends. I've seen spun rod bearings at 50 000 miles. They're also especially known for blown head gaskets.
The B2200s are way more reliable but never came with 4 wheel drive.
2200 and 2600 trucks are identical in almost every way other than the motors and some minor trim. The only thing 2600s are good for are body parts and interior trim because they were usually equipped nicer than 2200s.

Sweet truck danhoe! Should make a thread in the snapshot section and give us some more details!
Not only is he new here, but he has a truck I doubt anyone else has here. Any chance you could give the "wanna-be moderator" routine a rest and just let people post?
He's not hurting anything or anyone by doing so, so why be your typical arrogant self? I can recall countless threads you've done nothing but post this useless crap in, give it a rest and post something helpful or constructive for once, holy hell . . .

I realize he's new but he's defiantly going about posting the wrong way. If someone doesn't say "hey, that's not the way things work." then he will never know and it will become a issue. As experienced members it is everyone's responsibility to point newbies in the right direction so they become active and efficient members that don't cause problems like bumping old thread for no reason. I post up a lot of "crap", I'll admit that, and I'm working on resisting the new reply button. But pointing out an issue or helping out another member (which I do all the time, contrary to what everyone seems to think) is not
"worthless crap". It's constructive IMO.
@Danhoe: It's a great looking truck. Don't get me wrong I would kill for a cool *** truck like that. It's great to have you as a member in our little community, I'm sure everyone would love to see your truck in the photo section where you can make your own thread to show it off and make people jealous HAHA.

who said hes doing it wrong... his truck pertains to this thread. so he bumped it up with some pictures. theres nothing wrong with the way hes doing things. he actually used the search feature unlike other members. as you can see more people wanna see his truck, and now that he knows that they kindly suggested he make a thread in the snapshots section, he might do that.. this thread is already here. why not use it. its not off topic at all.
