Reminds me of the time I was browsing one of the custom tune chip burners (Bamachips I *think*) website and found a picture I took of one of my friends trucks from college.
It was a white 92 reg cab long bed ranger doing a nice big smoky burnout.
I took the picture at the last Ohio "Hay Field" meets a few years ago before I took it upon myself to start hosting them (D was there, he might remember that meet).
Anyhow I thought it extremely funny the site was using that picture as an advertisement to buy their chip. When in reality the truck had a 3.0 with open rear end and he was doing a burnout to pop the tire. Had absolutely NOTHING to do with showing the power of the Ranger (which it had none).
The pic was quickly took down when I emailed him expressing ownership of the picture and wondering if I was going to get a free chip from it. We found it quit amusing to say the least too because in the back of the bed in the real picture was a couple tie straps holding down a few extra spare tires that were going to get popped. The site photoshopped them out by blending tire smoke over the bed to get rid of them in the picture.

For the seller...
who wants to blow up his email? anyone?
Dear redneckstone,
Yes Mr. Redneck stone or to whom ever it may concern,
Your friend’s picture was placed on the internet with no copyright once so ever. In other words free for the taking. As a mater of fact my ranger looks just like the one used in the example only I made these modifications to mine back in 2001 minus the Fx4 package of course, so don't bother calling me a copycat. Once your "friend" contacts Ford on copyrighting picture of “there” truck, I will consider removing it but until then I consider this case closed. Furthermore I gave pictures of the actual products with a real and accurate description, and If you are interested in them place a bid.
Thanks

Just because he posted it on the internet doesn't mean the world has free use of it.
