The inner, inner fender?

Anyone know where i can buy the smaller rubber inners that go on with those one time use push clip things? I have one for the pass side but need new clips now and i noticed the driver side has spots for the clips to go but theres no cover. Id like to get both on and keep the engine bay a little cleaner!

Driver side was deleted by Ford a few years ago and can no longer be ordered. The good news is that the passenger side fits perfectly on the DS after simply reversing the plastic push pins. Packs of extra pins can be purchased at most auto parts store. Take in a sample and match it up.

PS splash shield:

OE Ford part number: F87Z-16102-AA
Retails for about $25

RockAuto Part # FO1251144
About $9 plus shipping

The Ford shield comes with push pins installed. I don't know if they are included with the RockAuto part.

ford or a junkyard. the ones on older trucks upto 03 i believe were normal sized and then in 04 they switched them to 1/4 of the size on the drivers side for "cooling" basically pointless to buy the drivers side one u can't get the larger sized ones anymore because ford replaced the part number with the new size.

Yes, two 98+ passenger side splash shields will do it. Push the pins out of the holes in one shield and then push them through in the other direction. When there were two shields on the 98+ Rangers, the actual shields themselves were the exactly the same part. The only thing that made them different part numbers was the direction of the pins.

My mod for additional tire clearance for the 98+ splash shields:

This simple mod gives extra clearance and, just as importantly, hides the prominent top edge that the tires like to grab hold of when turned to the steering limit.

Here is a remounted shield. In the photo, you can see the "witness mark" of where the shield used to be on the tire side of the inner fender.
