I think this truck is UGLY!

Have any of you actually seen this truck? I went to the ford dealer the other day to get an estimate on my truck after my accident and i actually saw one of these. The front and cab look fine to me but its the back. Now im not saying anything bad about mazda but you dont put the mazda bed and entire bed set up on a ford truck. This truck is ford from the front to the bed and then the bed is all MAZDA.....i think it would look better with a stepside bed and actual ford not mazda taillights.......All i have to say is that i had to walk away from that truck when i saw it. I wanted to throw up. If any of you actually wanna see it....check out fords website. i couldnt copy the picture of the back from them.....they use flash or whatever so i cant copy it. but its ugly anyway!

its not TOO bad, but i agree is a strange mish mash of parts. the bumper looks ok but could have used larger foglights. and it should come with bigger wheels at least 16s. it could also afford to sit and inch or 2 lower.

well let me tell you man this thing looks stupid in person....
Have you ever seen like a honda or something with just a front body kit and the front is like a foot lower than the rest of the car? Well thats exactly what it looks like. The front bumper is really low and the rest is kinda high. I think its a poor attempt to match the The s-10 extreme. Atleast complete the body kit if you give it one!

Maybe next year they will complete the body kit and maybe better wheels and lower it. atleast the extreme is lowered from the factory.

I've gotta go back to Ford here in the next few days. Ill take some photos at the dealer when i go. So ill post them for you. Believe me when i say keep ford with ford and mazda with mazda. I mean its supposed to be a MODed style truck. You know for the custom car world. Just like the Extreme but hey guess what....you cant even change the damned tail lights! well ill post the pics later this week

I agree I hate that trucks looks also they should have just released a Roush Ranger with the Roush skirts, front bumper, grille, hood scoop, and rollpan and let that been Ford's street truck. I also agree with keeping Ford strickly Ford no Mazda hybrids cuz no offense to you Mazda owners out there but it aint sh*t you can really do to those truck for lack of aftermarket parts available.

Maybe we could um start a petition and get everyone to sign it and we can send it to ford. It should be to change that truck. Put a full kit on it and a FORD BED! Who knows maybe it would work.....yea right lol

that truck with an 04 or even 05 flareside bed and tail lights. Maybe some billet aluminium steps on the side as well. i think the B-series tail lights are the ugliest tails on the planet.

Heh, I like that Valance. makes me wish I would have looked for one of those. Wouldnt have had to cut the side 'ear' parts.

oh well. I like it, but i havent seen pics of the back yet either.

They got a red one one display by a dealership i drive by every day on the way to work. They MSRP for 500 less than the Edge.

I do like the grill, the rest, well, a step in the wrong direction in my opinion.

The STX definately looks like an unfinished truck. A mild body kit, Flareside or regular styleside bed and ditching the steps would do wonders for the STX package.

im really not a huge fan of body kits in the first place, but this honestly looks absolutely ridiculous. i like more of a stock, but still custom look. but that reminds me of a friend of mine that has a front bumper on his eclipse that looks retarded. what was ford thinkin on that?

I dont like body kits on trucks. I dont think they belong on any truck no matter whether its lowered or lifted. I have not seen a body kit for a Ranger I have liked more than what comes from the factory. There is a truck that comes close to what an STX should look like in my eyes and its this one:

more info here:http://www.autoregistry.net/registryitem.asp?ID=393 I will admit it is one awesome looking ride BUT body kits dont belong on trucks.

Personally I love every part of the truck besides the Mazda bed...I would own one in a heartbeat if i had the money and I would shave off the taillights and put in a line of fire or whatever I could to make it legal.
