Icon2 I need a new antenna

Well as the title says I am in the maket for a new antenna b/c mine is broken. What type of antenna or what antenna would you guys prefer. I looked on ebay and alot of them said that the reception would be worse than the factory antenna. Any input would be great thanks.

The billet antenna looks really good but I like my OEM antenna because it lets me know if I'm going to scrape the top of the cab on something before I go under it.

It just screws on. I love mine. I can pick up San Antonio from Austin, which is about 75 miles. The stock one never did that well.

That why I'll never ditch mine. It's smacked into a few things that required me backing up.

I chose the chrome cause my truck is black, but if you have a lighter color truck, i think that the black might look better.

bringing this back up because I still haven't got a new antenna, and was wondering could I just get another Ranger antenna at a junkyard. will it fix my crappy reception, or be the same.

my XM will lose reception before regular radio reception goes.
